1. What is a business incubator?
A business incubator is a facility which assists new and emerging
businesses grow during their start-up period, when they are most
vulnerable.
2. Who qualifies to be a client at
the incubator?
Anyone who has started a business. The only type of business that
is not eligible are ones in the retail sector.
3. What steps must you take to become an incubator client?
a.) Visit with Incubator Staff to gain a better understanding of
your business and needs.
b.) Develop a Business Plan
c.) Show proof of positive cash flow
d.) Submit items b.)& c.) with incubator application for staff
to review.
4. Do you offer seminars on starting
or financing a small business?
Yes! One major component of a business incubator is education. Various
seminars and training courses are offered to clients as well as
anyone interested. Check our Seminar and Training page for upcoming
courses.
5. Can anyone attend seminars held
at the incubator?
Yes. There is a course fee for anyone not housed in the incubator.
